Corporate Social Responsibility Policy
Façade Creations
At Façade Creations, we are committed to making a positive impact on society, the environment, and the communities in which we operate. As a leading specialist in external building façades, we recognize our responsibility to integrate sustainable, ethical, and inclusive practices into every aspect of our business. Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy is built on three core pillars: People, Planet, and Progress, aligning with our mission to deliver innovative, high-quality façade solutions while fostering a better future for all stakeholders.
Our CSR Vision
Our vision is to lead the construction industry in sustainable and socially responsible practices, ensuring our operations enhance the wellbeing of our employees, support local communities, and minimize environmental impact. By embedding CSR into our business strategy, we aim to create lasting value for our clients, employees, suppliers, and the wider society.
Our CSR Pillars
1. People
We believe that our employees are the heart of our business. We are committed to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and empowering workplace that prioritizes employee wellbeing, professional development, and equal opportunities.
- Diversity and Inclusion:
We strive to create a diverse workforce where everyone is respected and valued, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, or background. Our recruitment and promotion processes are designed to ensure fair treatment and equal opportunities for all. We are proud to be a committed equal opportunity employer, adhering to all fair labor practices and ensuring our activities do not contribute to human rights violations, such as modern slavery. - Employee Development:
We invest in our people through continuous training and development programs to enhance their skills and expertise in façade engineering and construction. Our Façade Futures Apprenticeship Programme provides hands-on training and mentorship for young professionals, particularly those from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds, to develop the next generation of skilled technicians in the construction industry. - Employee Wellbeing:
We prioritize the health and safety of our employees, offering comprehensive wellbeing programs, including mental health support, flexible working arrangements, and competitive pay and benefits. As a recognized Living Wage employer, we ensure all employees earn a wage that supports a decent standard of living. - Volunteering Opportunities:
All employees are entitled to 24 hours of paid volunteering time annually. This can be used to support local charities, community projects, or our flagship CSR initiatives, such as mentoring young people or participating in skills-sharing workshops.
2. Planet
As a leader in the construction industry, we are acutely aware of the sector’s environmental challenges, particularly in meeting energy efficiency targets. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and promoting sustainable practices across our operations.
- Sustainable Operations:
We aim to achieve carbon neutrality by 2035 through a three-stage approach:- Stage 1: Measuring – We have completed a comprehensive assessment of our carbon footprint across design, procurement, fabrication, and installation processes.
- Stage 2: Reducing – We are implementing a carbon reduction plan, focusing on energy-efficient machinery, sustainable material sourcing, and reducing emissions from employee commuting and site operations.
- Stage 3: Mitigating – We invest in environmental projects, such as __________
- Eco-Friendly Materials and Practices:
We prioritize the use of sustainable, recyclable, and low-impact materials in our façade systems, such as thermally broken curtain walling and energy-efficient glazing.
-
Recycling and Waste Management:
We maintain strict protocols to manage site waste responsibly and partner with suppliers committed to ethical and sustainable practices.
3. Progress: Building a Better Industry
- Ethical Governance:
We operate with integrity, transparency, and accountability in all aspects of our business. Our supply chains are governed by clear codes of conduct promoting human rights and fair labour. - Innovation in Construction:
Through research, collaboration with architects and universities, and adoption of smart façade technology, we contribute to the advancement of sustainable building techniques. - Volunteering & Philanthropy:
All employees are offered 2 paid CSR days annually to volunteer in causes aligned with our mission — including community building, environmental clean-ups, and technical education support.
Monitoring, Reporting, and Transparency
