Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy
Façade Creations Ltd is committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct, integrity, and compliance in all its business activities. In line with the requirements of the UK Bribery Act 2010 and other applicable anti-bribery and corruption legislation, the company adopts a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption in any form. Bribery and corruption undermine good governance, distort fair competition, and erode stakeholder trust. Accordingly, Façade Creations will not engage in or tolerate any activity that constitutes bribery, whether directly or indirectly, and irrespective of jurisdiction.
This Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy applies to all directors, employees, officers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, agents, intermediaries, joint venture partners, and any third party acting on behalf of Façade Creations. All such individuals and entities are expected to act honestly and with integrity in their professional dealings, and must comply fully with the letter and spirit of this policy.
Bribery is defined as the offering, promising, giving, requesting or receiving of a financial or other advantage with the intention of inducing or rewarding the improper performance of a function or activity. Corruption is the abuse of entrusted power for personal or private gain. Façade Creations prohibits all forms of bribery, including facilitation payments—small, unofficial payments made to expedite routine government actions. These are not permitted under any circumstances, even where customary in a particular country.
The company is committed to conducting due diligence on third parties with whom it does business, especially agents and intermediaries. Appropriate background checks will be carried out to ensure their integrity and to mitigate any bribery-related risks. All third parties are required to comply with Façade Creations’ anti-bribery standards, and contractual clauses to this effect will be included in agreements wherever applicable.
All forms of gift-giving and hospitality must be proportionate, infrequent, and lawful. They must never be offered or accepted with the intention of improperly influencing a decision or securing an advantage. Any gift or hospitality valued above £100 must receive prior written approval and be recorded in the Gifts and Hospitality Register. The company strictly prohibits gifts of cash or cash equivalents, lavish entertainment, or any offering to public officials without senior management consent. Gifts or hospitality that could compromise the reputation of Façade Creations or are indecent, excessive, or in breach of applicable laws are strictly prohibited.
Façade Creations does not make political donations under any circumstances. Charitable donations and sponsorships are only permitted where they are transparent, legitimate, and not used as a means of obtaining undue business advantage. All such contributions must be approved by management and must be made to recognised, reputable organisations only.
All employees and contractors have a responsibility to report concerns related to actual or suspected bribery and corruption. Façade Creations encourages the reporting of such incidents in good faith, and any individual who raises concerns will be protected from retaliation. Reports should be made to the designated Compliance Officer or a relevant senior manager. All concerns will be investigated confidentially and appropriately, and where required, referred to law enforcement authorities.
Training on anti-bribery and corruption is mandatory for all employees of Façade Creations. New employees will receive training as part of their induction, and regular updates will be provided to ensure continued awareness of their responsibilities. The company will also ensure that contractors and third parties are aware of this policy and comply accordingly.
Any breach of this policy by an employee will result in disciplinary action, which may include dismissal. Contractors and third parties who fail to comply may have their contracts terminated. In cases involving criminal conduct, Façade Creations will not hesitate to report matters to the relevant authorities.
Responsibility for the implementation and oversight of this policy lies with the Board of Directors and Senior Management. The policy will be reviewed annually to ensure it remains effective and reflects current legal and regulatory requirements, as well as best practices in anti-bribery compliance. Façade Creations is committed to continual improvement in its approach to combating bribery and corruption, and to fostering a culture of transparency and accountability across all levels of the organisation.
