Façade Creations Ltd Carbon Reduction Plan
Publication Date: October 2025
Introduction
Façade Creations Ltd is committed to reducing its carbon footprint and supporting the UK’s goal of achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050. As a vertically integrated specialist in bespoke aluminium façade design, manufacturing, and installation, we recognize our responsibility to minimize environmental impact across our design, procurement, fabrication, and installation processes. This Carbon Reduction Plan aligns with the UK Government’s Procurement Policy Note 06/21 (PPN 06/21) requirements and is informed by industry best practices, including the Construction Playbook and the Carbon Reduction Code for the Built Environment. We are also aware of relevant regulations such as Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) and will ensure compliance as the business grows. As our first formal sustainability policy, this plan lays the foundation for Façade Creations’ environmental commitments.
Commitment to Net Zero
Façade Creations pledges to achieve Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, in line with the UK’s national target. To drive progress toward this goal, we have set an interim target to reduce our absolute carbon emissions by 50% by 2035 against our baseline year. We will measure and report our emissions in accordance with internationally recognized standards, including the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol and ISO 14064-1. This commitment spans every stage of our operations – from design and material sourcing to manufacturing and site installation – ensuring we deliver high-performance façade solutions with minimal environmental impact.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline Year: 2025 (the company’s first year of operation, established February 2025). As a newly established company, measured emissions data are not yet available; the initial carbon footprint will be based on estimates, to be confirmed after a comprehensive audit in early 2026.

Note: The baseline emissions will be finalized after the first full year of data collection. All current figures are preliminary estimates. Façade Creations will conduct a detailed carbon audit in Q1 2026 to establish the firm baseline for 2025 and subsequent annual reporting.
Carbon Reduction Targets
To progress toward Net Zero, we have set the following phased emission reduction targets and milestones:
- Short-Term (2025–2026): Aim to achieve an initial 15% reduction in carbon emissions by the end of 2026 through quick-win measures. Key actions include transitioning to 100% renewable electricity for our offices and fabrication site power needs, implementing energy efficiency upgrades (e.g. replacing lighting with LED bulbs and installing motion sensors), and improving waste reduction and recycling practices.
- Medium-Term (2027–2035): Achieve a 50% reduction in emissions by 2035 (against the 2025 baseline). To reach this milestone, we will increase the use of low-carbon materials in our projects (e.g. recycled aluminium and sustainably sourced components) and integrate low-carbon design principles. We will also electrify a significant portion of our vehicle fleet, targeting at least 50% of company vehicles to be electric or hybrid by 2030, supported by installing electric vehicle (EV) charging points on our premises. Additionally, we will adopt circular economy practices – for example, designing façades for disassembly and reuse, and expanding recycling of aluminium and glass – to minimize waste across project lifecycles.
- Long-Term (2036–2050): Stay on course to reach Net Zero by 2050, addressing any remaining emissions through residual emissions offsetting and continued innovation. By the 2040s, any emissions that we cannot eliminate will be balanced with certified carbon offsets or insetting projects (with a preference for credible local UK or Middle East community projects in regions where we operate). We will also collaborate closely with our suppliers and subcontractors to help decarbonize our supply chain (Scope 3 upstream and downstream activities) well before 2050. These efforts ensure that our entire value chain contributes to our Net Zero ambition.
Our carbon reduction targets will be periodically reviewed and, if feasible, made more ambitious over time to accelerate our contribution to climate change mitigation.
Carbon Reduction Initiatives
We have identified a set of key initiatives and measures to drive emissions reductions across our operations:
Energy Efficiency
Improving energy efficiency is a top priority across all Façade Creations facilities. We will upgrade to high-efficiency HVAC systems and enhance building insulation at our offices and manufacturing areas to minimize heating/cooling losses. We are also assessing the feasibility of installing solar panels on facility rooftops to generate clean, renewable electricity on-site. In our offices, we will implement smart energy management (such as automatic lighting controls) and adopt cloud-based IT services to reduce the need for local servers and equipment energy use. Additionally, we will use energy-efficient office equipment and promote digital-first processes (reducing paper and printing). These actions will help cut direct energy consumption and associated Scope 1 and 2 emissions.
Sustainable Materials & Design
Our commitment to sustainability extends to the materials we source and our project design approach. We will prioritize low-carbon and recycled materials in our façade systems to reduce embodied carbon. For example, we will seek out recycled or low-carbon aluminium, use FSC-certified timber where applicable, and consider innovative materials that offer carbon savings. All major projects will undergo Whole Life Carbon Assessments (WLCAs) to evaluate and minimize their environmental impact, in line with Construction Playbook guidance. We are also developing a façade recycling and take-back program to repurpose end-of-life materials (such as decommissioned panels or frames), thereby promoting circular economy principles and reducing waste to landfill.
Transport & Logistics
To reduce emissions from transportation and logistics, Façade Creations will optimize how we move people and goods. For project deliveries, we plan to optimize delivery routes and consolidate shipments to improve fuel efficiency and cut down on unnecessary trips. In terms of our company vehicle fleet, we are progressively shifting to electric and hybrid vehicles, with a goal of converting roughly half of the fleet by 2030 and continuing until the entire fleet is low-emission. EV charging stations are being installed at our facilities to support this transition.
We are equally focused on business travel and employee commuting. Wherever possible, we encourage virtual meetingsin lieu of travel to reduce the need for journeys, particularly for routine client or supplier discussions. When travel is necessary, we promote lower-carbon modes – for domestic trips we favor rail over air travel, and for local site visits we encourage car-sharing or use of electric pool vehicles. We also incentivize greener commuting options for our staff, such as the use of public transport, cycling to work, or carpooling programs. By tackling transportation emissions on multiple fronts, we will significantly lower our Scope 1 and 3 carbon footprint related to logistics and travel.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Building a sustainability-focused culture is essential to achieving our carbon reduction goals. Façade Creations will engage and empower employees at all levels to participate in our Net Zero journey. We provide carbon literacy trainingand regular internal awareness campaigns to educate staff on climate change and how they can contribute to energy-saving practices. As the team grows, every new employee receives basic training on our environmental policies and is encouraged to bring forward ideas for improving sustainability. We foster an internal culture where environmental responsibility is a shared value – for example, by recognizing and rewarding initiatives that save energy or reduce waste. Through continuous engagement, clear communication of our goals, and ongoing training sessions on sustainable workflows, we ensure our entire team is aligned and actively contributing to our carbon reduction mission.
Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Façade Creations will rigorously monitor our emissions and the effectiveness of this Carbon Reduction Plan, committing to continuous improvement over time. We will perform annual carbon footprint audits in line with GHG Protocol methodologies to measure our performance each year. Progress against our targets will be reported annually (aligned with our financial year) and disclosed transparently on our company website and in any required filings. We will also publish updates for stakeholders and clients to demonstrate our ongoing commitment to reduction goals.
To ensure credibility, we intend to seek third-party verification of our emissions and targets through recognized initiatives such as the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in the future. External verification will provide independent validation of our progress and alignment with climate science. Internally, we will use key performance indicators (see Appendix) to track implementation of specific measures (such as renewable energy usage and fleet conversion) on a regular basis (quarterly or annually, as appropriate). By measuring results, transparently reporting, and verifying outcomes, we will identify opportunities to improve and adjust our strategy, keeping us on course toward Net Zero.
Governance & Accountability
Clear governance and accountability ensure that this Carbon Reduction Plan is effectively implemented. Hashim Choksi (Director) is the senior executive accountable for delivering our carbon reduction objectives. He leads the implementation of this plan with support from our project coordination team (currently assisted by Mariam Mohamed). At our current size, we have not yet appointed a dedicated sustainability officer; however, as the company grows, we plan to designate a Director of Sustainability or similar role to take charge of environmental strategy and performance.
Senior management will conduct quarterly progress reviews of this plan’s implementation. In these reviews, we evaluate key metrics (e.g. emissions data, energy usage, project WLCAs completed), discuss challenges encountered, and allocate resources or corrective actions as needed to stay on track toward our targets. This structured oversight guarantees ongoing management attention and accountability for sustainability. Ultimately, Façade Creations’ Board of Directors approves this Carbon Reduction Plan and will receive annual updates on progress, ensuring that carbon reduction remains a core strategic priority at the highest level of the company.
