Engineering plastics bring versatility and performance where metals cannot – offering lightweight strength, impact resistance, thermal isolation, and machinability.
At Façade Creations, our plastics portfolio is designed specifically for façade applications, ensuring the right balance of mechanical properties and long-term stability. Supplied in sheets, rods, and tubes, these materials are easy to fabricate and adapt to bespoke project requirements.

Acetal (POM)
A high-strength, low-friction material perfect for moving parts within façade systems. Acetal provides excellent dimensional stability, making it ideal for rollers, seals, and load-bearing precision components.
Applications: curtain wall rollers, glazing gaskets, precision spacers
Nylon (Polyamide)
Renowned for toughness and wear resistance, nylon excels in high-load, abrasion-prone environments. It is widely used for façade mounting pads, bushings, and reinforcement parts.
Applications: thermal breaks, washers, façade cladding fixings.
Polycarbonate (PC)
Polycarbonate combines transparency with exceptional impact strength. It is the material of choice for protective glazing, daylighting elements, and safety screens within architectural envelopes.
Applications: canopy glazing, protective guards, impact-resistant cladding panels.
PET / PETG
Durable and easily fabricated, PET and PETG sheets are lightweight alternatives suited to signage, display panels, and non-load bearing façade elements.
Applications: temporary façade panels, signage integration, protective overlays.
PTFE & Low-Friction Polymers
When ultra-low friction and high-temperature resistance are essential, PTFE-based polymers deliver. They provide excellent performance as sliding pads, isolators, and wear-resistant seals.
Applications: sliding track linings, expansion joints, structural isolators.
High-Performance Polymers (PEEK, PEI, PAI)
These advanced polymers are engineered for extreme conditions – high heat, aggressive environments, or heavy load-bearing situations. In façades, they are used for specialized spacers, plant fixings, and structural isolators.
Applications: thermal isolators in steel-to-steel connections, advanced anchors, engineered brackets.
