PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) Products

1: PPS GF40 (Glass Filled) – Natural

This compression molded PPS is reinforced with 40% glass fibres to provide enhanced strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability. It is designed to perform under high mechanical loads and elevated temperatures, making it suitable for demanding structural applications.

The material offers excellent chemical resistance, high creep resistance, and reliable thermal performance, along with resistance to high-energy radiation. Its stable property profile ensures consistent performance in harsh environments where durability and precision are critical.

Typical Applications: Structural components, load-bearing parts, and high-performance components in oil and gas and industrial applications.

2: PPS (Carbon / PTFE / Graphite Modified) – Black

This compression molded PPS is modified with carbon fibre, PTFE, and graphite to enhance sliding performance and wear resistance. The combination of additives reduces friction and improves durability, making it suitable for applications involving continuous motion or contact surfaces.

The material maintains high strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability, along with excellent chemical resistance and thermal performance. It also offers strong creep resistance and reliability in demanding environments, particularly where both structural integrity and wear performance are required.

Typical Applications: Sliding components, bushings, wear parts, and mechanical components in oil and gas and industrial applications.

3: PPS GF40 (Glass Filled) – Black

This PPS grade is reinforced with 40% glass fibre to deliver very high strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability, particularly at elevated temperatures. It offers excellent thermal performance, strong chemical resistance, and reliable electrical insulation, making it suitable for demanding industrial and high-temperature applications.

The material is inherently flame retardant and resistant to hydrolysis and sterilization processes, ensuring consistent performance in harsh environments. Due to the high glass fibre content, it may exhibit lower toughness and increased abrasion on mating surfaces, making it less suitable for sliding applications.

Typical Applications: Structural components, load-bearing parts, and high-temperature components in mechanical, energy, chemical, and aerospace industries.

4: PPS (Bearing Grade – Carbon / PTFE / Graphite) – Black

This PPS grade is specially modified with carbon fibres, PTFE, and graphite to deliver excellent sliding and wear performance. The combination of additives provides a low coefficient of friction, making it ideal for dry running conditions and applications involving continuous motion under load.

The material also offers high strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability, along with excellent chemical and thermal resistance. Its balanced performance makes it suitable for demanding environments where both mechanical integrity and wear resistance are critical.

Typical Applications: Bearings, bushings, sliding components, and wear parts in oil & gas, aerospace, and industrial systems.

5: PPS (Semiconductor Grade – CMP) – Natural

This PPS grade is specifically developed for semiconductor applications, particularly for high-precision processes such as CMP. It offers a refined property profile designed to reduce surface defects and ensure consistent performance in sensitive manufacturing environments.

The material provides high dimensional stability, strength, and chemical resistance, along with controlled purity and reduced internal stress. It is well-suited for applications requiring tight tolerances and high reliability in cleanroom conditions.

Typical Applications: CMP components, semiconductor equipment parts, precision rings, and high-purity engineering components.

6: PPS (Semiconductor Grade – High Purity) – Natural

This unfilled PPS is manufactured with enhanced quality control to achieve high purity, improved dimensional stability, and reduced internal stress. It is designed for semiconductor applications where cleanliness, consistency, and tight tolerances are essential.

The material maintains high mechanical strength, rigidity, and excellent chemical resistance, even at elevated temperatures. Its stable performance and controlled material structure make it suitable for precision components in sensitive processing environments.

Typical Applications: Semiconductor components, inspection fixtures, precision parts, and cleanroom engineering applications.

7: PPS (Carbon Fibre Composite) – Natural

This PPS composite is reinforced with carbon fibre fabric to provide extremely high stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability. It maintains its mechanical properties even at elevated temperatures, making it suitable for high-performance structural applications.

The material also offers excellent chemical resistance and inherent flame retardancy, along with low creep and reliable performance in demanding environments. Its enhanced structural capabilities make it a strong choice for advanced engineering applications.

Typical Applications: Structural panels, high-load components, and precision parts in automotive, aerospace, and industrial systems.

8: PPS (Glass Fibre Composite) – Natural

This PPS composite is reinforced with glass fibre fabric to deliver high strength, stiffness, and thermal stability. It offers excellent chemical resistance and electrical insulation, making it suitable for both structural and electrical applications.

The material maintains its mechanical properties at elevated temperatures and provides reliable performance in harsh environments. Its combination of strength, durability, and flame resistance makes it suitable for demanding industrial and safety-critical applications.

Typical Applications: Electrical insulation parts, structural components, and high-performance engineering parts in industrial and energy sectors.
