1: PEI (Bio-Based) – Natural
Façade Creations offers this bio-based PEI as a more sustainable alternative to conventional polyetherimide materials. Manufactured using mass-balanced raw materials, it provides a reduced carbon footprint while maintaining the same high mechanical strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability expected from standard PEI.
The material also offers excellent hydrolysis resistance, inherent flame retardancy, and high long-term thermal performance. It is suitable for demanding environments across industries where both performance and sustainability are important.
Typical Applications:
Electrical components, aerospace interiors, semiconductor parts, and high-temperature engineering applications.
2: PEI GF30 (Glass Filled) – Natural
This PEI grade is reinforced with 30% glass fibre to provide significantly increased stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability. It performs reliably under high static loads and elevated temperatures, making it suitable for structural and precision components in demanding environments.
The material also offers good resistance to high-energy radiation and maintains strong thermal and mechanical performance. While it delivers excellent rigidity, care should be taken in applications sensitive to stress cracking.

Structural components, electrical parts, precision housings, and high-load engineering components.
3: PEI (Standard) – Natural
This unreinforced PEI offers a balanced combination of high strength, rigidity, and dimensional stability. It performs well in elevated temperature environments and provides excellent resistance to hydrolysis, making it suitable for applications involving moisture or repeated thermal cycles.
The material is inherently flame retardant and maintains reliable performance in demanding industrial environments. It is also suitable for applications involving food contact where required.

Electrical insulation components, food processing parts, aerospace components, and precision engineering parts.
4: PEI (Glass Fabric Reinforced) – Natural
This PEI composite is reinforced with glass fibre fabric to deliver extremely high mechanical strength and thermal stability. The woven reinforcement significantly enhances stiffness and load-bearing capacity, allowing the material to perform reliably in high-temperature and high-stress environments.
It is inherently flame retardant and provides excellent electrical insulation and chemical resistance. The material retains its properties even at temperatures up to around 200°C, making it suitable for advanced engineering and transportation applications.

Structural panels, electrical insulation components, transportation interiors, and high-performance industrial components.
