Certified Fire Protection

Our glass door systems are available in EI30, EI60, and EI120 classifications, offering up to two hours of certified fire protection – including both integrity (E) to prevent flames and smoke, and insulation (I) to limit heat transfer. Doors are fully tested to BS 476 Part 22 and EN 1634-1 standards, with third-party certification to demonstrate full compliance with UK Building Regulations.

We supply both latched and unlatched configurations, with optional panic hardware and self-closing mechanisms as required by Part B and EN 1154/1155 standards.

Glazing & Hardware

Our fire-rated glass units are manufactured using multi-layered intumescent or gel-filled technologies that remain clear under normal conditions, allowing full light transmission, but expand during fire exposure to provide an effective barrier. Façade Creations also offers toughened safety glass, laminated acoustic glass, or privacy-enhanced options – all available in fire-rated variants.

All door hardware, including handles, locks, closers, and thresholds, is certified for fire performance and endurance-tested for durability. We work with leading hardware brands and can supply anti-panic, touch-free, and automation-compatible solutions where required.
