Cast Ingots – Rohblock

Strength begins at the source. Our steel ingots are produced in large dimensions, offering material reliability for the most demanding applications. From quenched and tempered (QT) steels to case-hardened, bearing, PHFP, heat-resistant, and tool steels, we deliver precision-cast ingots engineered to meet exacting standards.

Production excellence is achieved through electric arc furnaces combined with secondary metallurgy (VD/VOD systems) for precise adjustment of material properties. For applications requiring ultra-high purity, we also produce remelted grades using the electroslag remelting (ESR) process, ensuring superior cleanliness and performance.

Blooms & Billets – Rohstrang

Our raw strand products form the backbone of advanced steel solutions. Produced as round or square sections, these blooms and billets cover a wide spectrum of steel grades – from QT and case-hardening steels to bearing, PHFP, and tool steels.

Manufacturing is carried out in electric arc furnaces with VD metallurgy for controlled property adjustment. Crude steel is cast with precision using either our six-strand continuous casting machine or 2-strand bow-type caster, ensuring exact dimensions and consistency as per project requirements.
