1: Polycarbonate (Standard) – Natural

This unfilled polycarbonate is a transparent engineering plastic known for its high strength, rigidity, and excellent impact resistance. Its amorphous structure provides high clarity and good dimensional stability, making it suitable for applications requiring visibility along with mechanical performance.

The material also offers good machinability, electrical insulation, and thermal performance. However, like most amorphous thermoplastics, it has relatively lower chemical resistance and may be sensitive to stress cracking in certain environments.

2: Polycarbonate GF30 (Glass Filled) – Natural

This polycarbonate grade is reinforced with 30% glass fibre to enhance strength, stiffness, and dimensional stability. It performs reliably under long-term static loads and elevated temperatures, making it suitable for structural and load-bearing applications.

The material also offers good fatigue resistance and thermal performance. Due to the glass fibre content, it may cause increased wear on mating surfaces, making it less suitable for sliding applications.

3: Polycarbonate (Semiconductor Grade) – Natural

This polycarbonate grade is specially developed for semiconductor applications, offering high purity and consistent material quality. It maintains the core properties of standard PC, including transparency, strength, and dimensional stability, while meeting stricter requirements for controlled environments.

The material provides good machinability, electrical insulation, and thermal performance, making it suitable for precision components used in sensitive applications.

Typical Applications:
Semiconductor components, precision parts, cleanroom components, and high-purity engineering applications.

4: Polycarbonate (Carbon Fibre Composite) – Natural

This polycarbonate composite is reinforced with carbon fibre fabric to deliver very high stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability. The reinforcement significantly reduces thermal expansion, making it suitable for applications where precision and performance under temperature variations are critical.

The material combines excellent surface finish and machinability with a lightweight structure, offering an effective alternative to metals such as steel or aluminium in medium-load applications. It also maintains good impact resistance and can be easily machined for complex components.
